I hit 17.3 and nailed 80 reps. I wasn't really that fatigued but a little bothered that I didn't make the 185lb snatch. So....I decided to (Thanks to Christine sorta) in an hourish to try it again. I still hit 80 reps LOL.
I haven't been hitting 185lb snatches in training but I remained positive during the workout. It didn't stop me from attempting 185lb 20 times lol. I am having a lot of fun this open season.
What I focused on this year (February 16 - February 17) was conditioning. To be honest...that is exactly what I received lol. I was finishing up a weightlifting program prior to 2016 at Santa Barbara Strength out in Goleta.
I'm lucky to be in a location with a bunch of competitions to keep me on my feet. I will continue to work my way through the Invictus training. It's been really paying off and putting myself in positions where I wouldn't normally find myself in. I trust the program and believe it will help me become a better athlete. (Next week I'll probably want to quit CrossFit but let's talk about the here and now.)
